Fiction

Fiction is the latest album from the newgrass innovator and Doobie Brother (bassist/vocalist) John Cowan. John Cowan is a cross-genre phenomenon known for his powerful vocals that have been inspiring audiences and artists alike for over 50 years. He was a staple in the bluegrass supergroup "The Newgrass Revival" alongside fellow legends Sam Bush, Bela Fleck, and Pat Flynn. Jonah was honored to be the featured mandolinist on this new project from John Cowan that is a tribute to the newgrass revival sound. Fiction features ten songs (originals and covers) performed by Cody Kilby, Pat Flynn, Scott Vestal, Tim Crouch, Ashby Frank, and Bekka Bramlett. It was released on November 1st, 2024 on True Lonesome Records.
